Stronger Together

Hunger affects old and young alike. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, meal insecurity in our country is at a record high. COVID-19 has resulted in nationwide school closures, job disruptions and quarantines, which are causing members of our communities to miss meals. We all need help sometimes, and the need is greater than ever before
One in eleven Minnesotans, including one in eight Minnesota kids, experiences food insecurity on a daily basis. Food shelf consumers are six times more likely to have chronic-health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and hypertension, and are at a greater risk of serious illness should they contract coronavirus. Minimizing Minnesotans need to leave their homes will allow us to ensure their basic needs are met, while following the community mitigation guidelines from the Minnesota Department of Health.
Sun50 has partnered with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Second Harvest Heartland in St. Paul, Minnesota, in an effort to provide support directly to communities in need. Throughout the entire month of April, Sun50 will donate 10% of all sales generated with the promotion code: WECARE25 to our partner food banks.
The average cost of a meal is $3.02. Please join us in our efforts to provide meals to those in need today.
